Auction of Terra Incognita III
A friend from the South Georgia Heritage Trust knew I had been on an expedition to Antarctica and as a result had created a series of paintings. She asked if I would like to donate one to their auction. Of course! When visiting South Georgia, I saw the amazing work of the trust whose mission is ‘To protect South Georgia’s environment and preserve its history’ so, it was lovely to have an opportunity to support them.‘ The sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia is one of nature’s paradises and is rich in historical heritage.’ I asked them to choose the painting that they most liked, and I was delighted that they chose Terra Incognita III which is featured on their banner and website below.
