I have travelled to the Arctic and Antarctic regions absorbing elements from icy landscapes. Then I have used a cold wax medium with the oil paint which allows me to build up textures and scratch into it to reveal the layers beneath.
It has been painted on a cradled wood panel which gives the painting surface stability and has been framed in a white wood tray frame complete with D-rings and cord.
